qBittorrent can manage data sharing via P2P protocol. It comes to fulfill the need of a multi-platform torrent manager. This free program has several features that make it a favorite among users.
It has a nice interface, which is similar to popular download managers in many ways. Luckily, it supports an extensive list of languages. Actually, the program has two interfaces: a local interface and a secure web user interface, with similar characteristics. The latter will help you access and control the program’s functions remotely.
The program supports various data transfer jobs at the same time, and there is a Transfers tab where the tasks are organized according to their state (downloading, completed, paused, active and inactive). Moreover, you can create personalized labels to identify them. The tasks and even the files they contain can be assigned specific download priority levels.
Although the tool features a built-in torrent search engine from where you can create new jobs, it also integrates with your browser and offers to start a new task when you download a torrent link file. Not only can you create download jobs but also your own torrents to share their contents.
In general, qBittorrent is an excellent application with several advantages, like being open-source and very light. There is even a portable version if you prefer not to install it on your system. In addition, it can also avoid tracker backlisting, which can eventually prevent your downloads from losing speed. Unfortunately, I could not find a way to schedule transfers to take place at the most convenient time.
